Sweat, shared kit,
and zero residue.

Gyms accumulate sweat, skin cells, and aerosolised respiration on every surface. UV-C treats mats, machines, free weights, and change-room fixtures without the chemical residue that traditional sprays leave on skin and lungs.

Industry Context

Hygiene members can feel

Members are increasingly hygiene-conscious — and increasingly happy to switch studios over it. UV Sterile offers programmed disinfection between classes, overnight resets, and full-facility treatment after group events. No chemical smell to ventilate out. No residue on equipment when the doors open in the morning.

Pathogens of Concern

What we're treating, specifically.

01

MRSA & staph

Persistent skin pathogens that thrive on shared equipment surfaces.

02

Tinea & athlete's foot

Change-room floors and shower stalls are primary transmission zones.

03

Cold & flu viruses

High respiratory output in confined high-intensity environments.

04

Bioaerosols

Group classes generate concentrated aerosolised droplets.

Use Cases

How UV Sterile fits your operation.

Between-class reset

Treat the studio floor, mats, and props in the 10-minute changeover between yoga, pilates, or HIIT sessions.

Overnight full-floor

After close, treat the entire weights floor, machines, and free weights in a single overnight pass.

Change room and shower

Target lockers, benches, shower stalls, and floors — high-mould, high-fungal zones.

Equipment turnover

Rental boxing gloves, climbing shoes, mats, foam rollers, and assistive props between users.

Compliance

Member health and retention.

Hygiene is now a top-three reason members switch studios. Visible, documented UV-C treatment becomes part of your member experience — display the certification, mention it in tours, and reference it in your member communications. We provide branded treatment logs you can share publicly.

Frequently Asked

Questions, answered.

Do you treat during open hours or after close?

Both. Most studios prefer overnight or pre-open treatments, but we also run between-class resets and equipment-only treatments while the facility is operating in a separate zone.

Can you treat boxing gloves and other porous gear?

Yes. UV-C penetrates the porous interior of gloves, shoes, and pads where wiping cannot reach. This is one of the highest-value applications for a fitness business.

Will the lights damage rubber flooring or vinyl mats?

At our exposure times, no. We've never had a customer report material degradation from periodic treatment.

Do you offer ongoing service contracts?

Yes — weekly, fortnightly, or monthly contracts at preferred rates. Contact us for a tailored quote.
